Plans study and collects data to determine costs of factory set up and production, such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor. 2. Analyzes data obtained and records results. 3. Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs. 4. Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic report comparing standard costs to actual production costs. 5. Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services. 6. Prepares cost accounting records such as subcontracting, field service, sales costs, and research and development costs. 7. Computes project costs, compares actual costs to estimates and analyzes variances. Requirements 1. Bachelors degree in finance and accounting or equivalent 2. Mimimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing setting 3. Willingness and ability to travel domestically |
